Tips for preparing foods for vegetarian children

Parents who are vegetarian are often tend to advise their children to become vegetarian too. This is because when parents think that vegetarian is healthy, they want their children to be healthy in their way i.e. to become vegetarian. Foods consumed by adult vegetarian could be different to those vegetarian children.

Parents should consider food variation whether in taste, flavor or even color when preparing for their children. This is because children tend to be more choosy when eating. They of course prefer sweeter food than bitter food (for example bitter gourd). Certain foods that are hard to eat because of the taste, could be rich in nutrition.

Don't stubbornly force your kids to eat foods they don't like. You can guide them slowly. Or you can think how to prepare the food in a different way. Serving the food in an interesting way is also meaningful. For example, if you want to let your children eat something nutritious but dislike by them, you can try using plate with cartoon characters they like. Most young children can be trick to have nutritious food in this way. Use drink combined with the food you prepare. Use juice they like to accompany the food you prepare. Of course, advising them to realize that the nutritious food is important for health is the main factor?
